My research interests:
My main research interest is the investigation of quantum systems exhibiting Anderson and Many-Body localization. I am also more generally interested in disorder, jamming and ergodicity in quantum systems.

Highlights from my CV

Since 2018 I am a postdoctoral researcher (CNRS “Agent contractuel”) at Laboratoire de Physique Théorique (IRSAMC, Université Paul Sabatier) in Toulouse, France; previously, I held a 2-year postdoctoral research grant (“Assegno di ricerca”) at Università di Roma La Sapienza with G. Parisi as my postdoctoral supervisor.

In 2015 I obtained my PhD degree in Statistical Physics at SISSA (Trieste, Italy) with the supervision of A. Scardicchio of ICTP. I was a visiting student at Princeton University and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York in the United States for three months.

In fall 2014 I took part to the School on Parallel Programming and Parallel Architecture for HPC (High Performance Computing) in Trieste.

In 2013 I graduated from the Master in Complex Actions at SISSA – an innovation and technological transfer program – and founded WeGrid with four other fellow students.

I managed the SISSA Statistical Physics group’s webpage for three years.

In 2011 I obtained a level C2 (advanced) certification in the English language (CAE grade A).

In 2008 I created a blog (Dispensatore, in Italian, active until 2011) whose main series of tutorials on the LaTeX typesetting language attracts around 3K unique visitors per month.
